So Thanksgiving is upon us. I have to say that for the most part I have never like Thanksgiving. I feel as if no one really pays attention to the purpose of it. And most of us are forced to spend time with family we either don' t know or like.
But then...
I remembered it doesn't matter what kTHanksgiving has become, but what i know of it's true meaning. Thanksgiving is a time to remember what God has given us, and to remember the Grace and Mercy he shows us everyday. As well as remeber the Grace and Mercy He showed our forefathers. (please I realize we did evil things to the Native Americans, but on this one day remember the Grace God showed the pilgrims through the Native Americans.) God miracolously provided for the pilgrims through the Native Americans.
I realize how much I have to be thankful for. And remember to ignore what others are turning the holiday into, and just give thanks and show God's love through my actions.
