So I was at work today, totally not wanting to be there. Not because I don't like my job, but because it was just way to beautiful outside. My boss also did not want to be there, so we were a little slap happy today.
Okay, a lot slap happy.
And the funniest part of all was how my brain and mouth would not work together. I answered the phone at one point and instead of saying, "Thank you for calling Target Optical and Dr Sanders Office. May I schedule an appointment for you?" I proceeded to say, "Thank you for trying to be.."
And stop because I had absolutely NO idea what I was saying or why I had said what I had said. It just came out. "Thank you for trying to be", I mean WHAT could I possibly have been trying to say.
Anyways it made my boss crack up, it made me crack up and tear up. We laughed for 5 minutes. I know the patients had to think we were on something.
